Humanarium
Ireland's first health & wellbeing gallery
RCSI’s new €95m research campus created a moment to redefine how the public connects with science. We partnered with the world’s No.1 university for UN SDG3 to shape Humanarium, an immersive public gallery dedicated to exploring the science of wellbeing. Developed through extensive research with more than 2,000 people, the brand bridges the gap between world-class research and everyday experience, inviting visitors to participate, question and shape the future of health.
The identity reframes science as something human, warm and alive. Inspired by the natural thermal patterns of the body, the visual language reflects openness and individuality, supported by authentic street photography that grounds the brand in real Irish life. A contemporary palette, humanist logotype and expressive marque signal an inclusive space designed for dialogue, creativity and discovery. Built as a flexible system, it enables exhibitions and artists to co-create within a coherent framework.
Though early in rollout, Humanarium is already generating national momentum. It has attracted multi-million-euro investment from Blackrock Health and Lanas, alongside public support from Ireland’s National Health Service, HSE. More than a gallery, Humanarium establishes a new model for public participation in research, making the future of health something everyone can explore.

Working with Anatomy, we have created a brand that will make evidence-based health information more accessible and engaging. Humanarium is a space where research and everyday experience meet and a place that empowers people to understand their health with confidence.Louise Loughran, Chief Communications Officer, RCSI
